My Double Page Spread

Using PhotoShop, my research into magazine analysis and the layout ideas that I designed, I started to put images together and edit to make it look part of a double page spread of a TV listings magazine. Using my original images, I cut out the main image from the background using the lasso tool and I placed this onto a new document. I also cropped images into various shapes and added text across the page. I also used the text effects within PhotoShop to make this stand out.

I created 3 different double page spreads that could be used for my TV listings page as I felt that this will give me a wider range of option to choose my final product.

 

 

My Ident

After analyzing a variety of different ident, i thought it was time for me to make my own one. I have to admit that that this ident will not be as a high standard like the ITV or BBC ones because no money has been added to my ident.

I have created 2 different idents using the same set of images, but with a different manipulation. I have created 3 different version of these 2 idents using a different frame settings as I wanted to find an optimum speed which will advertise the site, but also allow the viewer to understand what is being shown.

I must stress that the whole concept of the ident is very simple as I am not funded by any big companies to make a high budget ident.

Web Hosting and Domains

I previously had no experience of creating a website and from a simple google search, I found out that I would need a web domain and web hosting, if I wanted to upload my website to the internet. Although the website is not required to be uploaded online, I feel that this will improve the quality of my work by being able to show that I have understanding of how a real website would work.

After looking on the internet for free web hosting and domains, I was recommended by a friend to use:

www.freehostingnoads.net

He had also previously uploaded his website using these services and recommended these sites to me after he had some success. 

I created a web domain called www.nasvision.co.cc using the www.co.cc website.
I also created an account on the www.freehostingnoads.net website and using this, I linked both accounts together.

I was also unsure of how to upload my website to these accounts, however, I learnt that there was a feature built into the Serif WebPlus X4 program which allowed me to upload my files.

I entered my account details from the freehostingnoads.net website and I included all the information required such as FTP address, upload directory, account name and password.

 I then updated my account and uploaded my website to the internet.

My website is now uploaded to the internet
 

My official layout ideas

These are the final ideas of my website and how i would like my website to look  represented. I done alot of thought on this and this is how it will look when im officially done with my final product

Original Videos

Apart from my original images, I have also shot some original video footage and taken a video using a PC input to my PlayStation console to capture my game-play. I have uploaded these videos onto my YouTube accounts and I plan to use these on my website.

Picture for the website

These are the pics that ill be putting on my website. It will deal with the variety of different contents, so each picture will be associated to there own content.

ill be adding this to my website. As you can see there aint a lot of pictures but there will be a lot more that will be added on my final product and i stress that some pics in here will or will not be added on to my final product.

Pictures for the ident

The pictures that ill be using for my ident, this will be a no budget ident because ill be doing it as my own boss with no backing and funding so the quality as you can expect will be poor. I will be only using  things, my phone, and a piece of paper.

The ident will just be a piece of paper opening and the name of my website will be seen.
